The speed limiter is set at about 110mph but I figured that depending on tire size you can go a little faster or slower... ~4800RPM@5th speed, not that high... unlock it and then happy ride... =)

I managed to get my escort up to 113ish going down hill on an empty stretch of highway. It was bucking off of the speed limiter so I only stayed at that speed for about 2 seconds then let up. Going that fast in an escort is a quick way to meet your maker.
