I know but there's a need to make these videos until equality is established. Take me for Example, i'm a gay lesbian living in texas. I'm not out and like that isn't bad enough there aren't really any support groups out there. So stuff like this makes me feel less alone and less likely to suicide.

@hatchcode listen i meant no disrespect it's that too much is made of a person's sexuality instead of who they are, and what thy have contributed to society, I don't walk around saying well im a straight black man etc., even though im straight it doesnt define me as person, it's a small piece of who I am, im proud of these sistas and their accomplishments, but that should be it. but again it wasnt meant to ruffle any feathers just try to understand where im coming from.

I'm guessing you're straight? This video wasn't made for you then. For us black lesbians, it's hard to get a voice in the LGBT community as most of the famous LGBT celebs are not women of colour, not that there's anything wrong with that but this is inspirational, so you don't feel alone.

So I need to know these women because of who they like to sleep with and not what they have accomplished that's stupid do I really need to know that they are lesbians and not just what they have contributed to society.
