Perhaps, 0PsycoDad0, you can inform us just how the warming which ended the ice age, which, by the way, had most of North America under ice, came about? What caused the Earth to warm so much that all that ice to melt?

Then tell us how all the increased human and industrial activity brought about the "minor ice age" of the 1970's period which caused your wise, knowledgeable scientists to declare we were entering another ice age and could expect to freeze to death if something was not done?

@EndNationStates Well "my own research" hardly includes some teraflop high end computer for modeling nor some blinky star-toy gathering data.

The common strategy of skeptics is to destroy the credibility of science&scientists involved. This has nothing to do with scientific proceedures but is entierely aimed at creating an air of doubt, mistrust and hostility.

@0PsycoDad0 NOAA-16,(launch Sept.00) follows a sun-synchronous orbit (102min duration) around the Earth gathering temperature data.For the past decade this satellite's data has been fed into climate computer models.All of the data has now been taken offline.NOAA's Program Coordinator, Chuck Pistis, admitted that the data was inaccurate showing temperatures 10-15 degrees higher than they were in reality.
