JN - David Goldman diz que tentará reaver US$ 500 mil gastos em batalha judicial

Advogado da família brasileira diz que anúncio 'revela o caráter' de David.
Sean e o pai passaram primeiro dia na casa em que viverão nos EUA.

Em entrevista coletiva concedida nesta terça-feira (29) nos EUA, David Goldman, pai do menino Sean Goldman, disse que já gastou cerca de US$ 500 mil na batalha judicial que travou com a família da mãe do garoto. Segundo sua advogada, David irá pedir à família brasileira o ressarcimento desse valor.

O advogado Sergio Tostes, que defende os interesses da família brasileira do menino Sean, disse que as declarações dadas nos Estados Unidos pelo pai biológico do garoto, David Goldman, que manifestou a intenção de cobrar o que gastou na batalha judicial, "revelam o caráter" do americano.




Tostes lembrou que a ação no Brasil foi movida pela Advogacia Geral da União com dinheiro do contribuinte brasileiro. Já a avó brasileira Silvana Bianchi se declarou "estarrecida" e não quis comentar o anúncio feito por David.




Segundo o advogado Tostes, esta declaração (a intenção de cobrar) não surpreende, e apenas demonstra o interesse pecuniário do Sr. David Goldman. Tudo que ele fez não foi pelo interesse do filho, foi interesse pecuniário.

It's in the Hague Treaty that the abductor must pay reparations to the parent that was wronged, that being David in this case, to cover legal and travel fees accrued during the fight to get the child back! Bullshit! David never said this; if he had, it would be all over the news here. I can't find one article that confirms this. The Brazilian lawyer is a LIAR! David spent around $500,000 trying to get his son back from his kidnappers. If that doesn't prove how much this man loves his son, I don't know what will!
