  • You are probably a babywearing advocate judging by your comment. If so, remember that some babies feel confined belly in...and act as if they HATE being carried. If this is a workable alternative for both child and parent...whats the problem? A baby will always let you know if they are in pain...unless there is some other underlying issue... which in that case you probably wouldnt be carrying the facing out.

  • I agree with you with certian respects. It is better to carry in the ways you mentioned...however this is a far better alternative to foward facing if it is a preference for either the child or the parent than the legs hanging out forward position. It is not painful for the child to be in this position like it may be for you or I...the baby is far more flexible and has a broader range of motion... (how do you think the baby was inside the womb?) I appreciate your concern tho :)

    Babys schould not be worn like this (with the face to the front). It is better for the baby AND a parent to carry a child belley to belley or child's belly to the parent's back.
