'several days or several weeks' perhaps not but 'several months or years' DOES make you stop caring about life. I was a daily pot smoker for years. Spending over $100 a week, wasting over $5000 per year. It messed up my relationship with my ex girlfriend, we broke up because all I wanted to do was get high rather than spend time with her.
