  • Does anyone know when they will be going on tour again? I can't find any concert info anywhere.

  • @WingyWonky00 The Decemberists are Colin Meloy: Vocals Jenny Conlee: Piano/accordion Chris Funk: Guitar/steel slide Nate Query: Bass and John Moen: Drums... Occasionally there will be guest vocals from Shara Worden and Becky Stark. They did most the backing vocals for The Hazards Of Love, but are not part of the main line up. When Jenny was being treated for breast cancer, Sara Watkins (previously of Nicklecreek) was touring with them. Don't think there's ever been anyone named Eric in the band

  • Where is Kentucky Love.

    Down by the water..,.

  • Killer song by a killer group!! A+++

  • IM GOING TO SEE THEM TONIGHT>>>>SOO HAPPY!!

  • Do the Decemberists have a steady line up? It seems like every video I watch of them everyone changes but the drummer and Eric

  • That steel guitar sends chills down my back, Gotta love the Decemberists!

  • @Daboppr "The season rubs me Wrong,

    The summer swells anon,

So knock me down, tear me up,

But I would bear it all broken just to fill my cup,

Down by the Water, Down by the old main drag."

    :)

  • Anyone know what he says in the chorus I’ve looked up the lyrics and there are many that have different lyrics for the verses. I pieced together a set that are 90% correct I think, but the chorus ? does he have a speech impediment or is he just lazy?

  • @bbqwhaaat I imagine that since the song is in G, the harmonica would be in G. However, I think it might be possible to get away with using a C harmonica if you're careful not to hit an F natural, since the harmonica riff he plays now never hits an F#. But your best bet is with a G.
