@igordz I know what you meant and I agree that that is usually the case. Now what's your point? I'm talking about Macro martial arts and for no apparant reason you're now talking about micro.

@MilitantBlackGuy1 it makes perfect sense. if aaron's or steven's teacher was shit, they would be shit as well. they're fighting at olympic level means their teacher is phenomenal. ITF and WTF are jsut 2 diff styles, but if ur skilled then that doesn't really matter anymore. for example: theres a million styles of karate, yet they can all compete at the karate world championships together under unified rules, no matter if its seidokaikan or kyokushin etc..

@MilitantBlackGuy1 we can go back and forth on this forever. but in reality...there's no such thing as a bad student, only a bad teacher. if the master is great, then the student will be too.

@igordz At the end of the days they are both useless. But ITF is much more effective than WTF. WTF practicioners can't punch in the slightest and would get seriously hurt if they tried to just kick in a fight against anyone who has a decent sense of timing or distance. ITF kicks are better than WTF kicks anyway, it's not all about power, you see all these stupid kicks and they miss and fall over, ITF get knockouts with controlled kicks and they stay standing. WTF= badly performed ballet.

@MilitantBlackGuy1 ITF sucks. no1 in the ITF can kick well except the 4th dans and higher.WTF style is better. its technicallyt harder and the techniques are better.
