Lecavalier Slashes Subban March 17, 2011

After a thirty second sequence of non calls Both Subban and Lecavalier get chased away to the penalty box for slashing. Lecavalier though ends up getting a five minute major and a game misconduct. There better not be a suspension, the refs are at fault in my opinion for allowing it to get to that point

@rkramer40 And not boring to talk to. Orr was my idol growing up but never said much and never celebrated his goals or accomplishment. It was how things were then but I like what Suban is doing now

As life long Bruins Fan.... I watch the Canadians... just to so I can marvel at PK's energy, skill and passion for hockey. Name me another player in the NHL with the passion for the game like this kid?

@oilers1go1 Actually Subban got a two minute for slashing in that whole thing. Nervous referees are the problem now, the league has those guys make tough calls where just a month ago they were letting that stuff go. There is also enormous pressure for teams to make the playoffs.

This is a joke, Subban took 2 slashes at Lecavaliers arm right before! What a fucking farce. Lecavaliers slash was on his thigh, why the fuck isn't Subban being called for chopping Lecavalier on the arm TWICE before? Subban embellishing like a fucking asshole.

@HockeyPlayoffRun Yes i appologize for missing your point but again these slew foot/slash/crosscheck plays happen frequently in this area without calls. You are right that the ref should have called them both before the slash but he didn't, therefore it is a 5 minute penality and game misconduct.If i get away with breaking some minor laws it doesn't make it ok to comit a major one.
