so many childern were conceived to this music and it was made for that beautiful purpose back in the seventies! i was born in 1965 and i was spoonfed on this music even when i had to seek it out myself i found it and my innocence too ....

@tonyg150582nd I was fortunate to see them twice in Oaktown Ca. back in 1977. Missed my third time as my cousin said he was going to get me a ticket......but oh he forgot....cowardly and still is.

Maurice White got sick over twenty years ago.. He hasn't played with the group since then. If you didn't see EW&F back then you haven't seen the "Real EW&F". EW&F with Maurice White is truly the greatest R&B group of all time.

I cry every time I hear this music now because that was real SOUL music. I went to their concert when they were at the height of their powers as a junior in high school in 1975. I was a musician in high school band and they were my favorite black band with Andrew Wolfolk on Sax and Chicago was my favorite white band with all of them having a master's degree in music. This is real music where you can actually HEAR and UNDERSTAND the lyrics. This music meant something and it was about love.
