i have an87 crx si and there's no way my cold intake sounds like that. but then again mine runs outside the engine and stops right behin the front bumper

I have an 86 crx si and thats exactly what my intake sounds like. No different except I have a glass pack which actually doesn't sound that bad I have had a lot of compliments from all different kinds of age groups of people.

dude if you run your battery in to the trunk and put that air filter behind your bumper where more air comes through it helps quite a bit ive found out from experience

it gets from the middle to 1/4 when i am running free way with that set up. and look at the other vid coz i kinda cold air style it.

how did you fix your idle wierdness b/c i got a 87 civic si h/b it got the same motor as your and it doing the same thing.

air idle control valve its behind the throttle body. its an oval shaped cap with a screw going in the side of the cap. and its a long cylinder take it out get a new one or from junkyard or just clean the internals
