Vincent Valdez was part of and art showcase here in San Jose, California titled Arte Caliente; the Texan artist with other Chicano artists. At the exhibit his art really stood out to me using subject matter from Pachucos to boxing; indeed, my favorite was a black-and-white that partly read "I lost her to El Diablo." Solitude is a theme that Valdez executes well in all of his works. --Thanks for the posting of this video.

I love the characterization of obsessive hyperrealism. Mr. Valdez, you are so fucking talented! I sincerely wish you all the notoriety you deserve.
