turn the dial to manual then go to menu and then come back out of menu and it should change to manual video mode as soon as u go back to the screen

I did the same hack also but i cant for the life of my figure out how to get the manual video controls to work.

Just curious, but what did you set the bitrate for AVCHDlite/SH to using ptool?
I set mine using the recommended settings but if it can handle higher that would be useful to know :)
awesome vid too, one of the ones that convinced me to buy my g2

Looks great! which settings are you using?
Is this with the kit lens?
I'm also a lumix g2 user, and really like the cam. I'm using older lenses too.
But i haven't used the hack yet.
