Yes but the one door nobody is addressing is the esophagus its a total focus for starting a-fib, now who is going to isolate this open door, or french horn?
Had ablation at St Peters in Chertsey, Surrey 2 weeks ago. All the discomfort seems to come a few days after the operation and in my case it just seems to be some mild bruising near the groin. I would now like to really push my heart to see if I am back to normal with some 5 a side football and a squash game. Whilst I was told the operation was a 90% success my heart still feels a bit weird and I do get the odd twinge. Has anyone else had this operation and gone back in to their sports routine?
On 22.7.2010 this procedure was done on me, smoothly and without any fear. My Doctor took only one hour for E.P. study and abalation. For only five seconds I felt a burning sensation in the centre of my chest. Now it was the time for testing. They gave me extra charge but my heart beat didn't go up. It was amazing. Now a final test with medicine. I was given some kind of injection that too didn't increased my heart beat. After that doctor congratulated me and I thanked him for the treatment.
@toypajns182 thanks dear,Yesterday i did it.I had to do this coz of TYPICAL FLUTTER.The actual prcedure took only 30 mint time fo me,but to prepare took 2/3 hrs time.I feel nothing without some feelings of burning in side the chest.I will suggest do this for whom this reradiofrequency ablation recocomended for ....
@Belgiumbangla (cont'd 2)... Maybe you already got it done, but if not, I would advice you be calm, it's simple, 90% effectiveness and there's practically no risk...
@Belgiumbangla (cont'd)... I was really confident and calm, first of all becasue I spoke to the doctor that was going to perform it, and he was great. Second, because I knew that even tho I hate needles and hospitals and whatever, it was neccesary for my life and my health, and seriously, it was great.
It took about 2 hours I think, I don't know if it might take longer, I think they found my problem really fast... And you're asleep during, so you don't feel anything...
oh sorry! I think I got here late, but I'll answer anyway, as shorter as i can.
I'm from Argentina, I'm 20 years old. I had a problem with tachycardia, I got arrhythmia everytime I got the least bit excited, drank alcohol, drove the car, anything, so the ablation was recommended to me and I accepted almost inmediately.
@ryanhicks93 how did it feel?
