People extract its water. Use it as a funfair and take billions of KW of power from it every day. But guess what? They give nothing back in return to this miraculous river. The once vital delta and dynamic sediments and silt no longer reach the sea. This isn't a "Sustainable" balance. We have to give back to the Colorado and let it flow to the sea again.
