This is the video of Cora taking her first steps in her walker at physical therapy. She has Spina Bifida, level L3-L4, with bilateral clubfoot, and hip dysplasia. She has worked so hard to get this far.
@romylily Hi! My daughter was 18 months in this video. She started with a gait trainer at 14 months and moved onto this walker within a month. The gait trainer is like a walker, but it keeps them from falling down. We started physical therapy at 4 months. Her physical therapist pushes her to the limit which, I think, is great! Hope this helps! Any more questions, feel free to ask.
My son has SB and is 16months and our physical therapist hasnt offered us anything like walkers and bracers. Hes to weak in his legs to use a baby walker. but he can stand and wants to step but cant....yet
