@argonui yeah good point, but when your at home and theres no medical supplies and your desperate for the pain to leave you'll improvise and do whatever has to be done to stop the pain. i was swearing and cursing the whole time!

@TravellerJ, well the same night i tried it when i went to bed the pain was unreal so at like 2am i got up and heated the paper clip and burned into the nail until it popped the blister and the pain left, now i suppose ill just have to wait for the nail to fall off and re-grow!

Well, when I had 2 fingers smashed in a car door I stuck em in ice water, unfolded a staple, and stabbed my finger nails. For the 4 weeks it took for the nails to heal, there was no pain. Hot needles are bullshit.
