This was a free album promo type thing. It was the day after the new album was released and anyone who wanted to go had to show up at like 4 or so to get a wristband, which guaranteed a seat. I don't think Rufus generally does a lot of these anywhere, but he probably has done more in the US just because he tours a lot in Europe and probably has a stronger fan base there.
