I see what's happening here, she's been working her ass off for 20+ years and now her voice is extremely burnt out. It makes sense. I still enjoy her music and her voice, even if she is quite burnt from all those years of killin it. I commend her for still creating hits and though she sings in a much different style now, it fits what she's doing. I can respect her hard work and get that as a result of her hard work, she's struggling a bit vocally. Still luv her!!<3

I disagree highly with what this video is saying, Its hard for anyone who is not a vocalist to undestand hw a voice works, espicially one as unique as hers, Ive had to expain time and time again and im exhausted, until you've had voice training and you know what you're talkig about, you are just another fan wit an opinon.

THE GOOD THING WITH MISS MADONNA CICCONE IS THAT SHE DON'T RECORD HER ALBUMS EVERY YEAR AND DON'T SING LIVE EVERY YEAR, EVERY PERFORMANCE AND ON EVERY SONG SHE PERFORMS THAT WHY MADONNA HAS A LOT OF TIME TO REST HER VOICE ALBUM AFTER ALBUM.. Voice aside, Mariah is an incredible song writer. shes written ALL of her material except for the covers/duets.. and thats only what we've seen. i imagine there are some incredible songs from each album, some that just didnt make the final cut, that were recorded and will someday be released. then theres songs shes written but couldnt record (ie "where are you christmas") as well as songs she written for other people (ie "i pray") so even if she had to sign each song onstage id still love her

regardless of what yall say, if u think of it, if she HAD lipped more in the beginning of her career, or took more breaks, or whatever, her voice would've EVENTUALLY ended up the way it does now. 1) She has nodules 2) u can't stop the voice from changing how it wants, some would've given up in her conditions, but she continued and change WITH her voice to fit her new music. at least she wasn't delusional. lighten up, gosh!

I mean what do people expect? Mariah can't hit those notes so effortlessly anymore, she can't run around the stage and sing as great anymore, and her voice isn't going to sound as full anymore. She's not going through vocal deterioration, she's going through what is called AGING.

Whats going on with Mariah is no different from what went on with Michael Jordan, Bret Favre, Randy Couture, Venis Williams, etc....God fixed it that way, so a new generation can replace them.
