@ondeemia Exactly. In Arab countries, parents sometimes have their girls learn bellydance just like American girls get put in ballet classes. I'm an Arab-American but I have a friend who was born and raised in Egypt, her mom was a bellydancer and she herself was being taught to bellydance since she was 3. In a lot of these countries guys don't necessarily find it erotic because many of their GRANDMOTHERS bellydance too, haha.

aaaaaaaw she's adorable! and also belly dancing is not supposed to be a "sexy" dance, it's actually a social dance that was used at celebrations and rituals, mainly fertility rituals, women actually even used it in child birth. So no it's not like stripping or burlesque dancing, it's more "fun for the whole family" kind of dance.
