Kidney Failure in Cats - The Solution

My friend and I came up with this on our own - for school we had to do a project and make an invention for a disease that had no cure. We chose Kidney Failure in Cats and we made this invention. We couldn't believe that adults hadn't come up with this - it seemed so simple and it was the first or second thing that came to our heads - I guess it just goes to show kids really do have more imagination than adults! (No offense, grown-ups!)

how accurate is this? my kitten recently passed away and after reading how common renal failure (anuric) is in cats..why hasn't some one come up with something similar to human dialysis

PS

The inspiration for this "invention" was a cat named Nip who died at the age of 13 because of kidney failure. His beloved sister Tuck died at the age of 16 just recently from a tumor :(

Anyway I hope this video really takes off and gets vets interested!
