My version of Leonard Cohen's wonderful song 'Suzanne' performed on the octave mandolin. I've loved Cohen's songs for years -- this is the first one I ever heard. Forgive the video antics -- I'm trying out lots of new things for me.

  • Thanks for your comment. I've always loved Leonard Cohen, but, I like to find other ways to interpret songs. (That's what my partner and I do with sea shanties and other traditional songs). check that out too, you might be surprised: Look for us online -- William Pint and Felicia Dale

  • great cover. good voice with real feeling. I didn't think I was going to like it at first because of the rhythm. (I've always heard this done slow and quiet like). But once you started singing, I was rivited. And what a cool instrument. Thanks for posting.

  • I never heard 'Suzanne' with so much drive :-)
