Adobe After Effects statue explosion

This was done for a short film. We needed a missile type object to strike the Statue of Liberty.
Note: This is NOT an unpatriotic statement. The was according to a fictional script. No one hates the United States or wants to harm the statue of Liberty. Please no silly comments to that regard.

if you use the Shatter effect( i think thats right) with a custom shape (Statue of liberty) you could create a more realistic/professional outcome
