  • I just made these, but they came out to be more cakey...I followed the recipe and the batter had the same consistency as yours.

  • @Nirvana87 .. oh really? it's funny how each oven can be a little different. Did they still taste good?

  • @CookingwithKarma

Not really, since they didn't taste like either a cookie or a brownie. It's always like that, you know when brownies are overdone they get dry and taste too much egg and become more like a bad sponge:O And mine were not overdone, that's for sure because the next batch just I let them in for only 5 minutes and they were still like bad cupcakes:P

I think that I should've skipped the baking powder in this recipe. I never use baking powder when making brownies,

  • @Nirvana87 .. oh no .. what a bummer!! I wonder what happened?? Mine were definitely not cakey .. they had a more gooey kind of fudgy texture, almost like macaroons. I'm really sorry these didn't turn out for you :(

  • @CookingwithKarma Don't you mean Macarons? The french cookies or the coconut one?

  • @ToriGourmet .. they are very similar to macaroons :)
