  • what great place, a giant rail yard! How big is this place (km)? And how many trains per day on average?

  • @CristhoferALL This isn't so much a yard as it is a spur off the main line to the mine. The main line is 4 tracks wide at this location and the mine spur diverges at the signal bridge seen in the first shot. Upwards of 100 trains a day use this line - all coal - nothing else. This particular subdivision is 110 miles long give or take and branches in all directions at both ends.

  • Excellent video!

  • Exactly what i was looking for some PRB action, great to see those SP units being used even though they`re not leading.
