Florida deer hunting, on public land. My first whitetail!!! I know it's small, but in " Central Florida" deers don't get very big on public land.
I can't wait till next season .
I do not own any rights to the song " World So Cold" by Three Days Grace.

MrPlayerAG' That's a lot less than the 400 pounder I missed last New Years Eve !!!! I thought LSD was gone by the 80"s

@BigBuckDown211 I hunt the east unit, and have had some really big one go. Last year my buddy and I where up a tree when we saw one that had to be no less than 300lbs. He shot at it with his 30-30, but missed. We almost jump out the trees to try to get it, the palmettos are so thick there that we lost is. I wish you could have seen my buddys face...lol I got a early permit for November 24-27 then it goes to 750 per day at the gate. Archery is earlier, but I gun hunt, so I don't know those dates.

@MrPlayerAG i live in clermont greenswamp is down the road when is the season for greenswamp pigs? and greenswamp west has some giant swwamp donkeys i had a fwc officer tell my uncle that he seen the next florida state record

Congrats on your first! Thats pretty country down in there.Did some hunting for turkey this past spring back in that swamp with my son.He`s down in St Pete.Between the gators,cottonmouths,wild hogs all over, and the confirmed cougar sighting the guy at the gates handing out quota permits was telling us about,well,that just made it interesting.Didn`t bag a bird though.

@MrAlpineArcher Last year I saw a guy pull out a broadhead out of a hogs back. It seam that someone shot it before he did during GG season. Those things are a tough beast to kill. I do a lot of hog hunting at the Green Swamp, there is 3 hogs per every hunter at the very lease. I only wish that Citrus would let you hunt more than 4 days for ML and GG. Archery gets a whole three weeks. Good luck to you this season..
