John Bull vintage steam Train

The John Bull is an early model steam engine, circa 1850's. Brought over from England to America, it was the first true working train. Possibly this HO model is the only one of it's kind. Special thanks to Milepost 38 for the DCC conversion.

I have the same engine, right now im working on converting it to dcc, and the sound like you have. I bet that was a challenge to get sound and everything! 5*****

thank you, it was quite a challenge, all credit goes to Milepost 38 for the conversion. There was mill work an fancy wiring to get it done.

We have a small city transition to rural mountains. The sound is not true, but tried to make it as old school as I could. I don't think anybody has the true sound.

is that layout made of packing foam?

It is made out of 1 1/2 inch thick sheet foam and riser/incline foam. sheet foam @ home depot and woodland scenics riser/ incline @ hobby stores

The john bull is actually from 1831, and there were trains before it like the Pen-y-Darren and Stephenson Rocket. Sorry to be a train nazi, but just thought I'd help you make your description moree acurate :) And the model is cool and well filmed.

this is very good expect that Lionel has moving driving wheels but over all this is very cool!!!
