this is a perfectly normal thing in almost all other countries. and it's illegal in most places in the US to tell a woman not to breastfeed in public, so it shouldn't even be an issue.

as sexualized as breasts our in our culture, it makes it awkward and uncomfortable for most people. but it's a lot more common in cultures where other body parts are highly sexualized.
