  • How did u get the Bottom Bar? wich had the Start Menu?

    please answer !!!!! i only have the Dock/the Top bar with only the Applications Option

    it's called panel, logout and on the login screen enter your user name and at the bottom choose Ubuntu classic.

  • This video is not about enabling Desktop Effects, is about setting up. I want to know how to ENABLE effects, like the old gnome... U got it? In the Background options we used to click Extra Effects, and now am lost 'cuz I don't see it anywhere.

  • @13apollonas You can fully customize Ubuntu to whatever you want. The only problem is that isn't as simple. If you're up to learning new things, I recommend you give it a try.

  • How did you instal the ConfizConfig Settings Manager? I mean , when I open a terminal winow and enter the code,I must enter the password... and I can't eneter it! >.<

  • why on my ubuntu the folders, the selections, the icons etc are blue and not orange?

  • @zomgcontraishard can u customize ubuntu like windows or mac or whatever? in windows 7 you can. anyway im a windows user and loving more mac and ubuntu than windows!

  • @Phreemun If you haven't resolved this yet, you need to go to the terminal and type: sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager
