Eeek. Got scared when you screamed when the White Witch came on. Wasn't expecting it. I just finished PC tonight and came online to watch the trailer and found your videos instead. Like you, I loved how they added the details (the fact that Edmund is wearing a hat when coming into Narnia, the chess piece, and the fireworks!) And totally agree about the white witch. Grrr, they should just leave her out. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING. I wonder if we'll see the hag getting her head lopped off. 8D

And I got pretty scared when I saw her in the trailer haha. Not sure why, looking back. I knew the White Witch was going to have some role in the movie, but it still came as a shock when I saw it in the trailer.

In the book, Caspian is 13. But the problem is that the actors that play the Pevensies have aged since LWW. If they made Caspian 13 in the movie, he would be about the same age as Georgie Henley (Lucy). In the book, Peter is only a little older than Caspian.

So, they are being faithful to the book by making Peter and Caspian look about the same age.

bloodrunsclear you can't really compare LOTR with Narnia. LOTR was intended for a more older (young adult) audience and was intentionally darker. Narnia was aimed at C.S. Lewis' young niece, primarily. So it would be like comparing Mean Girls to Pulp Fiction (or something like that ;-)

So what I guess I'm trying to say is that you can't compare Blue with Red, Appels to Oranges.

Uh, they DID try to resurrect her in the book, the old hag and the werewolf, I mean, but Caspian did stop them. They better not make her alive for like a little bit and then kill her off, THAT would be annoying.

The Narnia's are not quite par with the LOTRs, but they're bloody good.

I hope they do just as good with Lewis' space trilogy next :)

lol, I like the old disney logo too. I don't know why they change it, it only lasted like two or three years. I have to admit this trailer makes prince caspian seem a lot more epic (the fact that miraz banishes the narnians, at least jadis could put up with them, lol)
