"Trap the Mouse" from Winter Gloves' sophomore release, All Red, available on Paper Bag Records.
Director Justin Lachance follows an afternoon with Winter Gloves in their hometown Montreal, as they maneuver through the song's storyline with snug stairways and cramped spaces towards an escape to apartment balconies and vast rooftops.
Justin began the treatment with a bleach bypass to make the beginning of the video feel de-saturated and accentuate the "trapped" feeling in the bathroom; as the video progresses, the colours become more saturated and everything looks cleaner to highlight the freedom felt on the rooftop at the video's finale.
-Trap the mouse before you change your mind, pretty lady in the sun that shines.
