Hello folks!

I would like to dedicate this video to all of you who have completed your final exams of the year/semester, and are enjoying your holidays now. Happy holidays! ^____^

This is Joseph Franz Haydns Sonata in E minor, Hob. XVI/34, first movement (Presto) (composed in year 1784). This is thus far the fastest Ive taken to learn a piece. I took about 1 hour to practice this movement of the sonata before recording it. I think it is nearly perfected; all thats left is to clean up the turns and inverted turns, and to be aware of the occasional careless slips. In my playing, I never used the sustain pedal once in this piece, because I believe that it is important to bring out the legato at some passages of the piece, instead of using the right pedal to make up for the lack of proper technique, which will also blur the articulation essential to this piece. This piece is all about the articulation and dynamics parallel to Haydns style of composing, which is similar to that of Mozarts (The only exception being the more extensive use of turns and application of the monothematic theme by Haydn in his sonatas).

Hope you enjoy it! Rate, and leave a comment. :)
