This is the first in a series of videos of my experiments to determine how much HHO my Ford 7.3L Diesel needs to run efficiently.

  • Can somebody tell me please what "MMW" stands for? I live in a non-english-speaking country and don´t know that abbreviation. Thanx!

  • MMW= milliters per minute per watt.

  • what is that big square?

  • In the back ground there are two 6'X6'X1/2" sheets of Phenolic Resin (like Formica).

  • Kudos, you sound like a real engineer or with that background. Way to much bogus promises and false edification for these systems. I know that it is fun for you, but ultimately break even wont ever happen in energy exchange for S. 3ltr due to low btu still wont help in supplement. Yes 60amps is considerable but puts you way out and in negative for overall efficiency gain. Water vapors will do about the same gain with using waste heat if introduced correctly. I've done extensive testing lab wise.

  • I have considered adding steam from waste heat. How much and where and when do you add it. It seems to me that the amount of steam added would have to be variable from zero at idle to a lot during heavy fuel use. How did you regulate the steam? I have considered using a PID EGT gauge to signal for steam when the EGTs are high enough.

  • You could hook up a veriable rate PWM and hook a linkage to the adjustment dial, BUT concider that you need the best MPG while ideling so the ratio is better using a straight hook up.

And I have figured out how to run HHO without using ANY extra power. It's a rough set up but can be improved. Go to my channel and look up "Motorcycle and scooter hookup"

  • Mars, try multiple cells wired in series (1+7 neutral 2-) so that you end up with approximately 2 .3 volts per cell at 10 amps. Pulsing the circuit would work even better and this can be done with a square wave inverter (not full sine wave) although you would need to run the resulting 110 through a bridge rectifier and at least two capacitors sized to your amp draw. This should allow your cells to run far cooler while producing the same amount of HHO.

  • I was using a sort of stan meyer copy with a bundle of 7 6" 316L tubes and tap water. No sodiumbicarbonate. Heck, Asheville water is probably like using sodiumbicarbonate. The water kept turning brownish red, iron oxide? Come to think of it, the tap water here stains the bathtub red also. The watts go up as the water gets darker. I need a better lid.

  • I have built an engine!! that runs on ONLY Hydroxy - produced by electrolysis of D water & KOH . I think I am the first.

  • I put 1lit/per/min into my 1970 1.6litre beetle and while it was running I measured 50mpg vs 30 Driving between Asheville and Blackmountain. Power increase also... but kept breaking seal on sell when hot. Still have it I think I'll try again It sounds like you where discribing a timing advance for power levels to the cells just installed a point replacement system that looks like a damn bedini motor, magnets on a disk and

  • Very nice looking set up. good information

  • Thank you Mars. Good job as well.

Talking about efficiency, you can calculate it in terms of the energy you win (in HHO) / energy you spent (battery). The energy density of HHO is 1.996 Wh/lt (see Wikipedia ->HHO). 3 lt/min @ 500W means 180 lt/h with 500 Wh of energy. Your 180 lt of HHO in 1 hour contain 180 x 1.996 = 359.3 Wh of energy. Dividing: 359.3/500 = 71.8 % of efficieny. Not bad! And of course, in a car, the input of energy from the battery is for free (otherwise lost). Regards.
