@Conducter49 Agreed!

I see a waste of resources when I watch this. So much potential gonedown the drain. Stupid, stupid, stupid politicians for letting the high line fade away like this. This is what America has turned into. Lost potential. Trucks are so inefficient compared to trains, & clog up, & tear up the roads even worse than they already are.

The new highline looks amazing and it's become a beautiful walking path. The view is amazing and breath-taking! It's a place that you'd like to go to take a break from society and get away from all the mayhem in the west side of Manhattan!. It's too bad some of the highline is out of access or has been torned down. I hope they can restore the remaining tracks and convert them into what has become a beatiful walkway!

More history @ 5:19 , Pier 54 whats left of the Cunard White Star docks where the Carpathia brought the Titanic survivors

I wonder how long it will be before it gets trashed by graffiti and hoodlums??
@Conducter49 Right on. They should have brought back the trains considering it causes less pollution. I'm sure it would have been more of an economic boost for the city but since it makes sense it didn't happen.
