Day 06 - Bad Driving Habits - Terrace BC

Day 6. Incorrect signal light use, speeding and not stopping at stop signs. One drunk or distracted driver coming into town from the airport. One guy running into a no parking sign, while parking. Same careless drivers you see everyday here in Terrace BC.

The NHTSA and the insurance industry have reported that unintended lane change crashes have been the direct cause of 23,000 annual fatalities on U.S. roadways. When drivers signal before making a lane change they give others on the road an extra split second of reaction time to adjust their driving. An extra split second is all that is needed to avoid the swerve that very frequently causes crashes and road run-offs. A person's life can either be saved or lost in just a split second.

(sorry I don't have the Canadian stats)

I learnt how to drive in Terrace BC, ppl are like you just ran a red light, how come you dont use signal lights half the time. I dont get why ppl make such a big deal about it, if nobodys around it doesnt matter!

This is horrendous driving. As far as the cop who did not signal, totally unacceptable. Whenever I see a police car not driving correctley, I roll my window down and give them an earful. I feel like i am the only one with the spunk to confront the policeÉ. These hypocrits should be setting a good example. Why are the public so afraid to confront policeÉ, come on people, they cannot lock you up for setting them straight. I am afraid the majority of police do not deserve respect. Period

Is it only in BC? IT'S EVERYWHERE!!! US/Can-doesn't matter. More and more ignorant idiots who has no brains just copying other assholes, but when they see police, all of the sudden every "driver" start to show turn signals, slow down. Also terrible roads, you go somewhere in SK or MB ,"roads" are broken for many years..

I am Portuguese but I have my uncle there in terrace and terrace also has had in 12 years when he was like if somebody had mail dai near my uncle who was also Portuguese

I hate it when people dont stop at a stop sign it pisses me off, especially if I'm walking across from them. People just don't care anymore when it comes to safety when driving

YES I agree with the bad drivers here the worse thing is they DONT care for pedestrians either !!!! I will be getting liscence plate numbers the next time we have a close call with dumb drivers

I live in Chilliwack BC and the drivers are no different. The smaller the town the worse the drivers.
