Your train of though: "If we give people more freedom, they will use that freedom to screw each other over." and "If we give people less freedom and force them to help others, things will improve." Nope. Forced charity only breeds resentment. More freedom may indeed reveal us to be selfish and cruel, and the poor may suffer just as much in a liberated society than in a socialist one, but the point is that people are selfish. To be closer to understanding that truth, we need to have more liberty.

No. You cut the federal government programs and send them to the state level have the state government and private sector take care of it.

The federal government based on the Constitution should only be congress, supreme court and military. Everything else is a states problem.

Democrats have misinterpreted and abused the Constitution for a long time now.

Clearly if we cut every single program that helps anyone, use that same money on more expensive, less effective private sector businesses, cripple the federal government and remove any sort of consumer protection or regulation, America will have a prosperous future.
