NS = Southern Railway + Norfolk & Western RR so all these trains were NS trains, they just hadn't gotten around to painting all the units yet..kinda like the Conrail units now...

Nice to see an NS unit on the first train. Its probably an NS train with 2 Southern units.

The best sounding horns ever were on those high hood Southern engines. I think they were Melrose 5 tier horns, if I remember correctly. I don't see many of them any more and there was a time when I was sick of seeing high hood GP38's on the Southern...imagine that.
