Especially not 95 cm (the horse, Odinn, jumps 110 without problems with a rider on his back). Odinn measures 132cm.

Please, excuse my riding. Jumping isn't my high card. Yet.

Odinn, a 10 years old icelandic gelding, loves this more than anything else and even though he have only done it for a few times (about 4) he shows talent and passion. In a few years, I hope too compete with him and make people realize that he's a brilliant jumper, even though he's icelandic. Prejudice, prejudice, prejudice.

So pleeeease, no more "icelandic horses cannot jump".

  • Icelandic horses can jump and do everything i luv Icelandic horses!!!!

  • This is a really good video, me and my friend have an Icelandic horse and they love jumping, but most of galloping! They are really great natured and are theloe of my life! Great video!! X

  • What a great little pony! I'm a massive fan of Icelandic ponies, and agree that they can do everything, in my opinion. :) A truly phenomenal breed, that's for sure.

It's great to see someone working hard to put Icelandics on the map! Well done!

  • :) I know how you feel - i get the same comments about my favorite breed, Arabians. (anyone who thinks THEY can't jump should look at my playlist of jumping Arabians) Icelandics are adorable and that smooth fast flying gait is lookiing more an more attractive as I get older. :) Nice jumping!

  • @rushmo23

Do you mean me and my not so serious headline, or the people that actually believes that icelandic horses can't jump?

  • Wow great job! Love your pony!

  • he is a good jumper too! I like the the way he breaks into a canter to approach the jump then he drops back into a nice to LT. nice. and you are a good jump rider too obviously. good job. I love it when people do other stuff with celandics other than the arena to ting stuff!

  • is jumping fun?

  • Aww, cutie :D

Good to know that I'm not the only one who jumps my icelandic horse. Everyone seem to think they can't jump at all. Of course they can, they are awesome. They can do pretty much anything. Everytime there is something "jumpable" at the field, Jarpur is like: "Can I jump it? Please? Pretty please? Yaaaaay!!"

    *charges like a maniac*

  • @TransparentToy it looks mor 70/80cm and i wasn't trying to critisize i was just saying it doesn't look thet big not thet is wasn't that big
