I moved out of NY in 2000 to Florida. I'd give anything to go back. Yes life is stressful up therre (like everywhere else)  But But you have a certain personality up there you don't have anywhere else. There is also so much culture and things get done faster and work is mostly done right the first time. Most people are educated up there and the fact education is a priority. Yes you pay for it in dollars big time but the quality of life is none other compared to anyting else.
