Here is a documentary from the mid-1950s about the ghost town of Bodie, CA. Beautiful B&W photography and interesting profiles of the nine residents who remained long after the rest of the town left for greener pastures. This film really reflects what the West is all about. Got it wrong, it's ''Good, By God, I'm Going To Bodie.'' The correct quote is in the Book of Bodie by Ella M. Cain who was born in Bodie in I believe 1882 and grew up there and went to college and returned to teach in the same school that stands today.
