This station was actually a loop turn for trains. The roof was actually opened with sunshine coming in.They had to neglect this beautiful station like all other. My fav is the one with hand drawn animation on the walls.

@ddoyle11 its not used because of the gap between the train and the platform but I as probably many ppl are glad that is not in use because if it was it wouldn't look as nice and historic as it does now...they shouldn't even make it into a museum. Just leave well enough alone and let it be real life fantasy for the imagination.

@BoricuaKidd1210 Which was an appropriate move, as Old City Hall Station was designed to handle the obsolete end-door cars and cannot accommodate current rapid-transit rolling stock.

Your not over crowded over there and people are more nonchalant. From time to time you just have the kids play here and there. But also i wouldn't want too play in fallout fetid areas either ya.?

look moscow metro stations. Seems like peeps are different...

The MTA should put the moving platforms like at Grand Central Station & 14st. Union Square. That should be great. If you want to see the abandoned station, take the (6) to Broklyn Bridge City Hall(Last Stop), wait untill everybody leaves, the door will close, & in the few seconds, you will see it.

How do you gain access to this station? This is fairly recent
