Obama Promised no signing statements, but broke that promise on March 11, 2009 just over 50 days into his presidency. Obama claims that signing statements are used to make laws as the president goes along, signing statements are designed to accumulate more power, and as an end-run around congress. He knows exactly what he is doing because he taught the constitution for 10 years.

write to congress, demand that the census be put back where it was.Obama moved it to the white house and they only report to him.He also has Acorn doing the counting,while they have been arrested in 21 states so far for voter fraud.Obama is now also a felon,it is a federal crime to appoint czars.i demanded the congress act on this.

Unfortunately, he just issued a signing statement to undo Congress's qualifications on the billion dollar commitments he made to the IMF and World Bank.

He also said he would not allow earmark spending.... yet there were over 9000 earmarks in that stimulus package. He also said that rushing bills and signing them quickly is bad, and he'd go line by line and have the bill up on the White House website for the public to comment on it for 5 full days, yet he signed the stimulus bill in under a day

Jim, it sure does seem like a bit of lex talonis. We helped the Saudis & their ummah to destroy Israel (tho of course, they won't succeed), & now, Saudi tool being used to destroy us.

I said before the election that I thought Obama was God judgement on America for trying to force the Sowdie Arabian Road Map to the annihilation of the Jews down the throat of Israel......I think I was right.

O.k., even my liberal friends are starting to notice tyrannical tendencies now. BO's signing statement wasn't some little detail, but a rejection of Congress' right not to appropriate funds for putting US troops under foreign commander in UN missions witihout military advisers recommendation. Wake up America!
