@stmpeed lol its a honda motor wich at a certain rpm it engages vtec (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) and it goes from a weak sound to a big sound

@gtdrummerdude You'll be fine with a 150 shot, even with Hyper pistons. But spraying with a stock AOD=Dead AOD.

I am about to purchase a nitrous kit. I have a 1982 Mustang coupe, original 302 HO with a fresh rebuild with hypereutectic pistons and moly rings, mild cam, stock 70cc, 8.2:1 heads which I purposely kept so I could use nitrous, Edelbrock carb, headers, exhaust etc. I did not gap the rings for nitrous or anything, just made sure they were within the manufacturer's specs. Will I be okay to use nitrous(150 shot max)? Also, I want to use an AOD with 3500 stall, how much power can a stock AOD handle?

Are your rings gapped for nos?
well you be useing pump gas?
You need a cooler plug and pull out 2Drg pre
50 horse shot. I would start with a 100 and work my way up keeping a close eye on the plugs.

the motor is asbf 428ci with a 300 shot.
best time so is 5.56 at 127mph
