Oh, this movie is beautiful! I love Chopin, I love Hugh Grant and I love George Sand. Totally perfect. It's a pity that there aren't more videos about it!

Didn't Emma Thompson get an Award for her role in this?

@TCLondon89 I've got to say, even if his part isn't all that big, Mandy Patinkin steals every scene that he is in! This movie was the best surprise I've had in years. I bought it thinking I'd get a biopic on George Sand and Chopin, and instead got a medley of great actors playing amazing artists in 19th century France. Crazy, yes, but good crazy, and this video is a brilliant hommage to it all! In my opinion, captured the spirit of it perfectly.

Excellent! Ooh I'm soo excited, and most definately adding this to my cart, lol. Thank you so so much. I'm a huge fan of his, so if he gets good screen time aaaand thinks he's a ladies man (he's definately this lady's man) then most definately worth it. lol. Thank you so much :)
Firstly, I wanted to apologize for everyone else on here who seems to think this was a bad video, because it's awesome!! Secondly, I wanted to say now, that this was awesome! lol. I loved it. and last but not least, I wanted to find a vid of this before buying it. Ive never seen it, but am a huge Mandy Patinkin lover. Is his role pretty big in this? He looked like a ladies man, yum. lol.

@TCLondon89 Thank you! His part (Alfred de Musset) isn't very big, but he gets a fair amount of screen time, so it's worth buying being a fan of him. He is indeed a ladies man, or at least likes to think so himself;)

I do not quite understand why you put such a horrid music on this movie, which is, besides, a very good film.

While I could be inclined to understand that one could find Scissor Sister's unfitting for "Desire for Love", I must say I completely disagree with you on this one. The "Hair" musical is quality.

Actually, I do understand. "Hair" movie is a classic - when you do know what's all about, you get the idea - Chopin - that brilliant fragile genius actually was full of life - at least in his dreams. And what he was not able to experience in life, because of his physical illness, he experienced trough music. Congratulations for the idea, lsserley, for me - it's very touching!
