  • I tried one at a demo.

It has got the best of the Loop action, with a deeper flex and a bit more spine.

Using the extra handle, you have a very good spey rod.

It is fast, very light, in perfect balance and you won´t believe how easy casting becomes.

It is my next object of desire :-)

  • the cool, which one did you try

    which one did yiu try?

  • Can you at least TELL that STUPID whatever upstream of you to FUCK OFFF?????

  • How far can you cast with this ? and wich line increase de distance of cast ?

  • Beaware! Zpey is going for World domination in 2011 whit there new Rodds both singel and Dubbel, FANTASTIC I HAVE TRYED THEM!

  • Henrik is one of the best flycasters there is... But with this rod... Puhaaa! I don`t like it...Have tried it..

  • Nobody beats g loomis for speyrods. Derek Brown once told me that he told Winston to produce "Derek Brown's Favorite" rod as the the loomis glx graphite rod. True story.

  • Henrik looks as confused as everybody else who has tried the Zpey....you can only produce one cast with it because the butt grip does not allow for the natural twist and turn of the rod when you spey cast.......hence the reason he is standing there doing one cast.....imagine him trying a double spey cast or a snake roll....Yuck!

Nice marketing plan though I know people who have actually bought them.

  • Not evverybody likes the handle. To heavy for me, rods from guideline, g loomis is much better

  • With the handle on the action becomes slightly slower and much deeper, because the bottompiece can then flex freely.

  • I don´t remember the name of the model, but it was a very light 7", and the one-handed speycast , which is normally difficult, suddenly went easy and natural with the extra handle.
