Even if you record a hand signal, you'd still have to somehow get that information to the offensive/defensive coordinator and hope that the quarterback or defensive captain doesn't audible. Not to mention you have to do all of this within seconds of the play being called. The notion that this gave the Pats any real advantage is hilarious to me.
The Patriots went 17-0 AFTER "Spygate" didn't they? This year they are 5-1 with the Steelers and Jets. Pretty good.
