@makey989 Our ego uses fear in many forms to keep us from looking at it. The ego does not want to undergo scrutiny and fears change because it fears it will cease to exist if we see 'it' for what it truly is. The workbook for ACIM is as harmless or as harmful as we believe it to be.. As is ANY form of spiritual study. This course & workbook doesn't 'open' the mind it merely shows another choice that can be made--that isn't 'ego-driven'.

@makey989, this only your ego speaking these things, do not buy into its fear. if you knew true love that this is pointing to none of these fallen ones would have anything to attack. The course is about the mind and discovering who and what you really are. There is nothing in ACIM about spirit communication or anything remotely on that topic.

The only problem is, what if (after we train our mind through ACIM to welcome holy spirit) and will some other voice for example of demon or some lost soul?!
This question stops me from studying ACIM students book...
