Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says the United States and Israel plan to attack two countries in the Middle East as part of a conspiracy to apply pressure on Iran.
"We have precise information that the Americans have devised a plot, according to which they seek to launch a psychological war on Iran," Ahmadinejad stated in an exclusive interview with Press TV on Monday.
"They plan to attack at least two countries in the region within the next three months," he added.
He said the US seeks to achieve two main objectives with the scheme.
"First of all, they want to hamper Iran's progress and development since they are opposed to our growth, and secondly they want to save the Zionist regime because it has reached a dead-end and the Zionists believe they can be saved through a military confrontation," Ahmadinejad explained.
He also advised US President Barack Obama not to follow the policies of George W. Bush.

In addition, he warned Russian officials to avoid playing into the hands of Washington because that would go against their national interests.
Commenting on the nuclear issue, Ahmadinejad said Iran will resume nuclear talks with the West in September, adding that Iran wants Turkey and Brazil to participate in the negotiations.

'Shameful defeat awaits US in 3rd war

Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri warns US against a new war in the Middle East.
A senior Iranian military official has described a third US war in the Middle East as another heavy defeat for the country in the region.
"The United States, which has already suffered two heavy, disgraceful defeats against Hezbollah and Hamas in the region, can start a new war with a third country to endure another defeat," Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri told Mehr News Agency on Sunday.
Jazayeri made the statements after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made mention of the possibility of an imminent US and Israeli war against two Middle Eastern states in the near future.
"They (Iran's enemies) have decided to attack two of the regional Arab states, which are our allies, with the help of the Zionist regime to create a fear of decision-making in Iran," IRNA quoted Ahmadinejad as saying on Friday night.

Political analysts, however, believe Syria and Lebanon could be the two targets of Israel and the US in the region.
The Iranian top military official slammed recent remarks made by the Commander of US forces in Iraq, General Raymond Odierno, who had accused Tehran of training militant groups in Iraq with the aim of what he called destabilizing the volatile state.

"There's a very consistent threat from Iranian surrogates operating in Iraq," AFP quoted Odierno as saying in Baghdad in mid-July.
General Jazayeri reiterated Iran's support for the establishment of peace and security inside Iraq, citing Tehran's support for Baghdad as "strategic."
"The Islamic Republic's interests in Iraq are actually that of the Iraqi nation," he concluded.

That place couldn't be more of a consipiracy. Who do u think gave the rebels arms to kill Gaddafi? Do u think "uprisings" r a coincidence? This prediction COULD NOT be MORE CLOSER to the TRUTH

  • @abusivepersian Then again, the USA seems to like fighting wars were the army goes in, gets slaughtered, proceeds to bomb the enemy, while people take to the streets in protest. The citizens off the USA/Canada protest and demonstrate against the war, yet only the conservative minority and their puppets (all of them with any power) in the democratic left, seem to have their say. Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, El Salvadore. The USA is more about self righteousness than liberty.

  • @abusivepersian Just like they are powerless to stop China's economic growth so they flood the media with misleading propaganda blaming China for things like rises in the cost of food and living, rather than actually giving a real answer and a positive solution. If their is a war with Iran it will be a lot less popular then the Iraq war, and people will protest it.

  • @evildnalor That's obviously Israel for one, but its really hard, practically impossible to sell nukes on the black market just because they are so well monitored. As for nuclear subs, I don't think they carry Uranium that is enriched to 90% or higher, that is required for a bomb. The problem that the US doesn't want to admit that they are powerless to stop Iran... they haven't fought a country that can defend itself since WW2. And aren't in any condition now to do so.

  • Ahmadinajad stole election

  • @abusivepersian John McCain wanted to build 17 nuclear subs and put them in the ocean, there are nukes on the black market, truth be told, Iran having a nuke is not scary at all, what is scary is, who has a nuke that's not telling..

  • @abusivepersian Your right, but a good conclusion would be, Iran sets up a couple stable working reactors, monitored by the United Nations (not the USA), and Israel and Iran threaten each other, but no one actually kills each other. That, would be great. I think it will be the typical high school "everyone is to intimidated by each other to actually do anything" scenario.

  • @evildnalor

part 1.No, in reality much of whats going on is not brought to the viewers attention. For a long time now, at least 20 years, the US and Iran have been in proxy wars in the region. Americas main proxies in the region are Israel & Saudi Arabia and Iran's main proxies in the region are Syria and the Palestinians. This allowed policy agreements that favored mostly Israels interests and Iran's proxies couldn't say much in retaliation because Israel had nukes and threatened to use them.

  • @evildnalor

Part 2. Israel had nukes and threatened to use them if they were provoked into a war. Its like a guy walking into a knife fight with an assault rifle. The guy with the knife isn't left in a good position to deny his opponents demands. But if Iran developed nuclear capability then Israel looses its ability to threaten Iran with nukes and its even playing field. Considering how many enemies Israel had, that would leave it in a position to have to fairly negotiate.

  • I honestly don't know what the big deal is. Pakistan has nukes. Enriching uranium is not a new technology and honestly it should be openly available to all developed countries. Just because Iran has a nuke does not mean they are going to start nuking Israel, and Israel has nukes but they never nuked Iran. It is almost silly that a old school heavy water facility being built by a country that supplies energy to many nations, is being targeted for persecution.

  • If Iran wants nukes, Israel & the West will deliver them -

from HIGH altitude and at MAXIMUM VELOCITY!

Demented Persian Muslocrats must not be allowed nuclear weapons any more than 3 year old children are allowed to play with matches.
