can you use the mobile broadband to make a wireless access point so that a ps3 could pick up the signal or do you need to buy a router cause i want my mobile broadband connection for my ps3

There are probably software applications that would allow you to turn a pc with wifi card and internet dongle into an access point. Also, check out the Draytek routers that you can use with an internet dongle - google "portable internet hotspot" and there's an article on myhotspots which explains more.

i have 3 mobile broadband, it costs more than normal broadband, always turns itsealf off and is slow as hell. not recomended

yup i live across the street from a 3g hsdpa enabled mast. and my 3gmobile broadband still comes and goes and is shit speed not at all like they advertise. wouldnt reccomend anyone to use it

my mate works at 3 and he gave me a trial for free [ i think you have to pay for trial's normally]

and its the worst internet connection ive ever had even my connection from 200m is better.

at some points i couldnt even open the google homepage. NOT recomended.

Today i rang 3 customer service asking why my broadband went down for 4 day's

The answer from Amid was you had left out of your 25 pounds spent 3 pounds

So we will compensate you 3 pounds although where off for 4 solid days

These people and the main company are charvers or people that dont understand customer service.spookmore

do not touch 3 mobile broadband its a scam and the customer service is from India most of the staff cant speak English.

Most of the staff are incapable and canot sort your problem if your if your internet goes down these guys went off line for 4 day and offered me 3 pounds compensation

I have a three phone which I use in the same capacity as this dongle and have no problems with it in the Royal County
