Have experienced a reaction when powder is used. Have been to different estheticians and the ones that irritate my skin are the ones that have used the powder. Leaves bumpy pimples for a couple of days. Sorry.

No, it dries your skin so that the wax sticks better. Your own natural sweat, oils do more to prevent a good adherence of the wax for a cleaner pull.

Doesn't the baby powder keep you from pulling all the hair out though. Doesn't it make the wax stick less, or make it so only part of the hair comes out?
